About Dr. Jose Vidot

Dr. Jose Vidot is a United States Marine Corps veteran, Columbia University graduate, and lifelong educator with over 40 years of experience teaching and leading in both K–12 and higher education. With advanced degrees in applied mathematics — including a doctorate in Teaching and Learning Mathematics — he has inspired students to learn and appreciate mathematics at every level, from middle school and high school classrooms to college lecture halls.

Dr. Vidot was inspired to move towards college level teaching  after seeing how many students struggled to complete their STEM degrees due to math barriers. Dr. Vidot made it his mission to make math clear, approachable, and empowering. He now offers personalized tutoring and educational consulting through Ironclad Learning — a service grounded in discipline, compassion, and a lifetime of service to others.
